JKPSCC seeks restoration of 4G internet for online classes

J&K Private Schools Coordination Committee on Saturday appealed to Lt Governor J&K, GC Murmu for restoration of 4G internet services in J&K to help students take online classes during the ongoing lockdown.

In a statement, President of JKPSCC Showkat Mohammad Chowdhary said lockdown has affected studies of the students badly and there was no way-out but to provide services to the students online.

Chowdhary said the current COVID19 pandemic has to be fought by lockdown and social distancing but at the same time administration should ensure studies of students were not affected.

Chowdhary said schools have been doing their best to provide online classes, worksheets and other study material to the students but low speed internet was hampering their efforts.
