JioMart may struggle to challenge Flipkart, Amazon in smartphone space

New Delhi: JioMart has recently debuted smartphone e-tailing but trade experts say Reliance Industries’ online marketplace will find it hard to challenge Amazon and Flipkart unless it onboards top phone brands, offers exclusive products, and matches the discounts and offers of the ecommerce giants.

After a soft debut last month with listing older models of Apple, Samsung, and entry-level fringe brand iTel, JioMart has now integrated its portal with that of Reliance Digital for the electronics category with listings of all major smartphone and laptop brands.
