Jio to SC: Paid AGR dues based on RCom spectrum usage under sharing pact
Reliance Jio told the Supreme Court on Tuesday that it was willing to pay AGR dues to the extent it had used RCom’s spectrum apart from the spectrum usage charges (SUC) levied for such use, estimated at 30 per cent of the Anil Ambani-founded telco’s spectrum. The Mukesh Ambani-owned telco however refused to pay the AGR dues of RCom which had used the rest 70 per cent spectrum.
“We have paid. If not, will pay,” senior advocate Harish Salve told a three-judge bench led by Justice Arun Mishra. “AGR payable will be paid. My share I will pay. We have already paid. If not paid, we will pay. SUC is also paid,” Salve said.
