Jio Meet video conferencing app to be available soon

New Delhi: Reliance Jio it is “just a few days away” from launching its video conferencing-cum-collaborative app called Jio Meet to capitalize on the surging demand for such use-cases.

Jio’s latest platform will take on Google Meet, Microsoft Teams and Zoom that have gained popularity in India as people work from home during the coronavirus lockdowns.

“Jio Meet is a platform which has many uniqueness- it actually has an ability to work on any device, any operating system, and it has an ability to do a complete collaboration,” Pankaj Pawar, senior VP, Reliance Jio Infocomm, told reporters after the company’s parent, Reliance Industries declared its fiscal fourth quarter results on Thursday.
