Jio launches emergency data loan facility for prepaid customers

NEW DELHI: In an attempt to increase the stickiness of its customers, Reliance Jio has launched an ‘Emergency Data Loan’ facility that will allow Jio users who have run out of data to avail of instant data on loan and pay later.

Under this facility, Jio will allow its prepaid users to borrow up to five emergency data loan packs of 1GB each, valued at Rs 11 per pack.

The facility can be availed by selecting the ‘Emergency Data Loan’ option under mobile services section of the MyJio app, and by following the on-screen instructions.
