Jio is 5G ready but a lot depends on viability of used cases, devices , ecosystem

MUMBAI: RelianceNSE 10.36 % Jio Infocomm (Jio) is 5G ready but a lot still depends on the viability of used cases , devices , ecosystem and the spectrum.

Anshuman Thakur , strategy head for Jio, said that the telecom company is ready for 5G and has the network and backhaul in place. The only investments would now be in spectrum and electronic.

He said a lot would depend on the viability of used cases , development of ecosystem around the used cases and mentioned that the final spectrum pricing is yet to come in.
