Jio, Airtel, Vodafone Idea, BSNL meet quality standards for March quarter: Trai

Mumbai: India’s four telcos – Reliance Jio, Bharti Airtel, Vodafone Idea and state-owned Bharat Sanchar Nigam Ltd. – have met the benchmarks for network service quality in all the licensed service areas (LSAs) for the January-March period, the Telecom Regulatory Authority of India said in the quarter performance monitoring report released Monday.

However, some telcos, mainly Airtel and BSNL, were found to fall short of the benchmarks on some parameters like response time to customers for assistance.

“All service providers are required to meet the specified benchmarks for each parameter in all License Service Area (LSA) on a quarterly basis,” the sector regulator said in a statement.
