Jainhits is a Satellite based Digital Cable TV Distribution Platform that provides digitized and encrypted satellite TV signals directly to the Cable Network Owners. This is the only Direct-to-Network (DTN) service in India. TelecomLive spoke to its chairman, Dr JK Jain about digitization and the company he chaired.

How has been your journey since you started in 2012?
We are basically entrepreneur not capitalist. We found an opportunity, then a product to tap that opportunity and put money to fund it. We started very early. It took us time to arrange the money and money was needed to put up the whole infrastructure. Now, we have the network. We have invested Rs 150 cr since April 2012.
