IT Q3 numbers may not be good but commentaries may be more soothing: Daljeet Singh Kohli

Daljeet Singh Kohli, Head, Research & Strategy, Vasuki India Fund, says IT is probably coming towards the end of the bottoming time. This quarter’s numbers are exactly the same as what we talked about in the consumption story. This quarter numbers will not be good. Q3 is always the leanest quarter for IT. Secondly, the management commentaries have not been good. In fact, we have heard some deal cancellations etc. So this quarter’s numbers will not be good, but we are expecting that probably this time the commentary will be much more soothing than what it was in the previous quarters.”
