IT needs to focus on market, makers for opportunities: Tech Mahindra CEO
Pune | Bengaluru: For Indian IT companies to harness their potential domestically, they will have to focus on three things – markets, makers and men, said Tech Mahindra chief executive CP Gurnani.
Speaking at NTLF2021, Gurnani said Indian consumers had embraced digital technology during the pandemic, and that it is now up to Indian companies to make sure that they are ahead digitally. With half a billion Internet subscribers, and among the fastest growing digital consumer markets, India will leapfrog others thanks to technology, he said.
“For companies to succeed, it is important to focus on human experience, said Gurnani. “Whatever technology I use, if I don’t focus on design, style and user interfaces, I am not making it easy for adoption,” said Gurnani.
