IT largecaps reaching stagnation after a good 2019: Dipan Mehta
When there are many domestic businesses which can grow at much faster pace — at least double digit or in mid to high teens, the money should be allocated there, not in the IT companies, now that we are gradually getting on to a risk-on trade, says Dipan Mehta, Founder & Director, Elixir Equities. We are not very positive on IT largecaps. They are reaching a stagnation phase and they had a good year. 2018-19 was a good year for IT after many years of flat earnings. I think they are going back into that zone of flattish earnings and the industry feels comfortable or is accepting high single digit type of growth rate.
