Isro’s talent base propels budding spacetech startups

After breaking away from Avishkar Hyperloop — the only Asia-based team that qualified to the finals of the SpaceX Hyperloop Competition 2019 by Elon Musk — founder Suyash Singh understood it was not easy to build talent in a category that is stretching the limits of technology.

Avishkar Hyperloop, building on technology that utilises magnetic levitation in low-pressure tubes to transport goods and people, currently continues to run independently and is funded by the Indian Railways.
