iPhone with screen on all six sides? It may be possible

NEW DELHI : Apple is working on an all glass iPhone. The company recently patented a phone that comes with screens on all six sides. As 2050 as it sounds, the phone may be closer to reality than you think.

A patent in US, filed by Apple, describes a phone as an ‘Electronic Device with Glass Enclosure’. The patent also specifies that the glass enclosure is on six sides. If the phone follows a conventional slab-like design, this could mean an all glass phone with screens all around it.

The patent states, “Described herein, however, are electronic devices with enclosures that use glass to define multiple sides of the enclosure… In such cases, the enclosure may appear visually and tactilely seamless, such that the entire enclosure may appear to be formed from a single piece of glass (even though it may be formed from multiple separate pieces attached together).”
