iPhone shipments rise 8% in Q3 on aggressive discounts, says CMR

NEW DELHI: Apple’s iPhone shipments in India during the July-September quarter increased 8% year on year and 44% sequentially to 1.7 million units amid aggressive discounts as the market continues to see a strong demand for premium smartphones, Cyber Media Research (CMR) has said.

The market research firm expects strong iPhone sales in the ongoing quarter as well as consumer demand for premium smartphones remains resilient.
