iPhone auction: Apple’s first-generation iPhone fetches more than Rs 50 lakh

This first-generation iPhone was factory-sealed, which means it was totally wrapped in the production box, and some lucky guy felt it was worth more than Rs. 50 lakh. The first-generation iPhone model was released in 2007, and it sold for $63,356 (about Rs 53 lakh) over the weekend.

While this is not the first time a first-generation iPhone has been sold for a large sum, it is the highest bidding price for a first-generation iPhone to date. Someone paid Rs 32 lakh for the first-generation iPhone in October 2022. Yet, the most current price at which the iPhone’s first generation was sold is the highest to date.
