iPhone 14 to be made in India in next 2-3 months

Of the four models launched by Apple on Wednesday, the company is going to start India manufacturing the iPhone 14 next quarter in the fastest-ever local production start in the country. It expects the made-in-India units to be commercially available by December. They will be produced at the Foxconn factory near Chennai, two senior industry executives said.

Analysts and industry executives also estimate the December quarter will mark Apple’s highest ever shipment of iPhones to India at around 570,000 units compared with 370,000 units last year.
