iPhone 12, 12 Mini account for majority of 2 lakh Apple phones sold during Flipkart’s Big Billion Days

NEW DELHI: iPhone 12 and iPhone 12 Mini accounted for most of the two-lakh Apple iPhone 12 devices sold during Flipkart’s 8th edition of The Big Billion Days (TBBD) sale so far.

The homegrown ecommerce platform said one in five customers has chosen to exchange their smartphone for a new one, with 82.60% of customers opting to pay for their next smartphone using prepaid payment options.

Additionally, the pent-up demand for large appliances and electronics has translated into televisions (TVs) becoming the largest-selling category in home appliances while laptops recorded top sales numbers in electronics.
