INX Media case: Govt issues sanction to CBI to prosecute ex-NITI Aayog CEO, others

NEW DELHI: The government has issued a sanction to prosecute former NITI Aayog CEO and the then Foreign Investment Promotion Board (FIPB) member Sindhushree Khullar in the INX media case.

She was last month confronted with P Chidambaram by the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) in its custody.

Khullar was the then additional secretary of the Department of Economic Affairs. According to sources, sanction has also been granted to prosecute Anup K Pujari, former secretary in ministry of micro, small and medium enterprises department;
