Int’l conf on Adv Computing, AI opens

A three-day 4th international conference on ‘Advanced Computing and Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Intelligent Engineering’ was inaugurated at the Rama Devi Women’s University here on Saturday.

Odisha Skill Development Authority Chairman Subroto Bagchi, Prof Sheng Lung Ping of National Dong Hwa Universities and University Vice-Chancellor Prof Padmaja Mishra attended as guests and inaugurated the programme.

Bagchi said that there are immense possibilities beyond our imagination in the new experiments in machine learning, artificial intelligence and intelligent engineering. Technology will definitely broaden the scope of human welfare in our times, he added.

Prof Ping, who is the key note speaker on information on engineering, hoped that the conference would be historic in expanding knowledge on the subject.
