Internet Exchanges

In response to Trai’s consultation paper, all the three major telcos in the country have stated that they are in favour of regulatory framework for internet exchanges in the country.

In December 2021 Trai, in a suo-moto initiative, had come out with a paper for promoting the Data Economy through establishment of the Data Centre, Content Delivery Networks (CDN) and Interconnect Exchanges (IEX) in India.
