Intel to use AI to improve battery life on laptops

Intel’s next-generation — the 14th-generation Meteor Lake — processors are said to bring much-wanted upgrades over the 13th-generation. Apart from the improved performance, Intel is also leveraging AI with the upcoming processors.PCWorld has confirmed that Intel is planning to use AI to improve power management on these processors.

The report mentions that the new Meteor Lake processors will be able to use AI to manage power and switch between the active and low power mode based on the usages. Intel is calling this “Intel Energy Efficiency Architecture” which is expected to arrive with future processors including the 14th-generation.
