Intel reportedly to lay off 140 employees in the US

In the course of this year, a total of 226,000 employees have been let go by tech companies, and it seems that this trend of layoffs is not going to end anytime soon. Chip maker Intel is back with a fresh round of layoffs. The company is laying off around 140 employees in the US.

Intel has fired around 89 employees in Folsom and 51 employees in San Jose. The company has revealed that the fresh round of layoffs is part of cost reduction.
