Intel Capital to invest Rs 1,894.50 crore in Jio Platforms for 0.39% stake

NEW DELHI: Intel Capital would invest Rs 1,894.50 crore in Jio Platforms at an equity value of Rs 4.91 lakh crore and an enterprise value of Rs 5.16 lakh crore, Reliance Industries said in a statement Friday said.

The new investment, according to Mumbai-based company, would translate into a 0.39% equity stake in Jio Platforms on a fully diluted basis.

Following the US-based Intel’s funding, total investment in billionaire Mukesh Ambani-owned Jio Platforms reached to Rs 117,588.45 crore, led by Mark Zuckerberg-headed Facebook.
