Instagram will now allow users to download Reels and save them in their smartphone’s storage, the app’s head has announced. Previously, users could save, bookmark content, including Reels, in a dedicated space known as collections to access it at a later point in time.
“We’re rolling out the ability to download reels shared by public accounts to your camera roll. Just tap the Share icon on a reel you love and select Download,” Instagram’s head Adam Mosseri said in his channel on the platform.
