Instagram now lets you post images captured by Stories camera anytime within seven days
Looks like Facebook’s Instagram is making yet another minor change in its app that should come as a welcome change for many. The photo and video sharing platform is now letting users save an image shot using the Instagram Stories camera to one week. Until now, you could shoot a pic and keep it for as long as you want without closing the app. However, you can now save it for seven days and make it live any time before it gets expired. The feature was found by social media expert Matt Navarra, who posted screenshots of the feature on Twitter.
It has also been mentioned that once users click the image from the Stories camera, they can view it in the ‘Recents’ tab to share later. The prompt text in the app states “Now everything captured with the Stories camera will be saved in the app for 7 days in Recents. You can take as many photos and videos as you like, then post your favourites later.” This will make it easier for creators and general users to curate their content and post their best Stories instead of anything and everything. It may specially be beneficial for brands though.
