Instagram KILLS swipe up links; move set to hit you, check this how to and save yourself trouble

Instagram is reportedly planning changes to the photo and video sharing service, that will change the way users share external content on the app, according to a new report. The Facebook-owned company has begun informing users about the upcoming changes to the app’s “swipe up” links, which allow users to add links to content that is hosted outside Instagram.

The service recently began showing a small popup notification to some users, as spotted by The Verge, which states that swipe up links will go away starting August 30. Instead, the company will allow users to link to external content and websites with the use of link stickers can be tapped by users.
