Instagram down: Several users in India report outage

Several Instagram users in India reported issues with the Facebook-owned photo-sharing app over the past 24 hours.

The outage began Wednesday morning, locking users out of the app, according to Downdetector, an online platform that provides users with real-time information about the status of various websites and services.

Nearly 500 users in India reported issues in accessing Instagram, the website said.
