Inox to telecast World Cup matches live in cinema screens

MUMBAI: In a first of its kind tie-up, India’s second largest multiplex chain InoxNSE -2.00 % Leisure has partnered with the International Cricket Council (ICC) to show select matches from the upcoming ICC World Cup live across its major properties.

The ICC World Cup 2019 is schedule to kick off on May 30 in England and the final will be played on July 14 at the iconic Lord’s stadium.

Inox will showcase all the nine league matches of the Indian team along with the semi-finals, final and a few marquee league matches. In all, Inox will air 15 matches at multiplexes in Mumbai, New Delhi, Kolkata, Bengaluru, Pune, Jaipur, Indore, Vadodara, Surat, Noida, Gurgaon and Faridabad.
