Infosys announces $1.6 billion deal with telecom firm Liberty Global
India’s second-largest IT company Infosys has announced a five-year mega deal win with Europe-based telecom and communications group Liberty Global that has been valued at €1.5 billion (or ~$1.64 billion) for the initial engagement period.
This is an extension of their initial collaboration signed in February 2020. Infosys will take over the build and operations of Liberty Global’s Horizon entertainment and connectivity platforms. The Bengaluru-based firm also aims to add its Topaz AI offerings, according to the exchange filing.
