Industrial 5G to drive Industry 4.0 growth in India, says COAI’s Kochhar

NEW DELHI: In order to enable Industry 4.0 with 5G, there is a need to collaborate with telecom operators and manufacturers to ensure 5G gets commercially deployed and that the industry verticals and government work in sync to develop the ecosystem, said SP Kochhar, Director General, COAI.

Kochhar was speaking at an industry event “Making Industry 4.0 Happen With 5G” organized by COAI in partnership with the 5G Alliance for Connected Industries and Automation (5G-ACIA) and 5G India Forum (5GIF).
