Indus Towers rules out dividend payment over Vodafone Idea dues issue

Kolkata: Indus Towers, the country’s largest telecom tower company, has ruled out dividend payouts to shareholders anytime soon in absence of any clarity on future dues collections from its struggling customer, Vodafone Idea (Vi).

At its fiscal first quarter earnings call on Friday, Indus’ top management also said the tower company is constantly pushing its key customer, Vi, to clear its massive past dues, estimated at Rs 9,500 crore.
