Kolkata: Indus Towers reported an over 182% on-year jump in its fiscal first quarter net profit to Rs 1,347.9 crore, on the back of strong tower additions and reduced finance costs, even though its key customer, Vodafone Idea (Vi) cited fresh challenges in clearing its massive past dues.
Indus managing director Prachur Sah said the tower company had recorded the highest quarterly tower additions in the company’s history.
