Indonesia mobile services revenue to increase at 1.8% CAGR during 2019-24: GlobalData

NEW DELHI: The mobile services revenue in Indonesia is expected to increase at a compounded annual growth rate (CAGR) of 1.8% from $10.1 billion in 2019 to $11.1 billion in 2024 supported by healthy growth in mobile data service revenues, as per a report by data and analytics firm GlobalData.

However, the report forecasts that the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic will cause mobile service revenues to fall by 6% year-on-year in 2020.

A drop in the mobile services ARPU in 2020, and with local operators offering large data packs during the COVID crisis will also cause a decline in the total mobile service revenues in the country, the report added.
