India’s tablet PC market up 77%; Samsung pips Lenovo in third quarter: CMR

NEW DELHI: The tablet PC market in India witnessed a strong quarterly growth of 77% in Q3 2020 and Korea’s Samsung dethroned Lenovo to claim the top position in the market with a market share of 37%, according to market tracker firm CMR’s Tablet PC Market Report Review for Q3 2020.

The strong quarter-on-quarter was primarily driven by increased consumer demand for various use cases, including learn from home, and unwind at home. In addition, enterprise demand picked-up during the quarter, the report noted.
