India’s PC market to grow 14% in 2024 with AI-enabled tech in focus: report

India’s personal computer (PC) and tablet market is expected to register a 14% year-on-year growth in 2024, with artificial intelligence-enabled PCs and local manufacturing taking centre stage, research by technology market analyst firm Canalys found.

The market will expand a further 15% year-on-year in 2025. This follows an 11% fall in shipments in 2023, Canalys estimated, which signals a strong rebound for the market after a period of sluggishness. Robust education purchases and the refresh cycle will push growth in 2024.
