India’s infra development model can be applied to uplift Africa: Sunil Mittal

New Delhi: Bharti Enterprises chairman Sunil Mittal has called for the application of the Indian model of infrastructure development to Africa for the continent’s economic upliftment.

Speaking at an industry event Tuesday, Mittal said the fact that the entire African continent, consisting of 55 nations have less than 2% of the world’s manufacturing, clearly suggests that the continent is falling behind in the last several decades.
