India’s 5G infra additions at par with China: JP Morgan

NEW DELHI: The roll out of 5G BTS in India has accelerated this year with the total number of BTS reaching over 250,000 and the current weekly deployment pace can take annual run-rate deployment to around 600,000 at par with annual 5G BTS additions in China, according to a report by JP Morgan.

Reliance Jio and Bharti Airtel have been launching 5G services aggressively across various cities while the third private player Vodafone Idea is yet to announce the launch of 5G.
