Indians most positive towards biometrics

A survey by technology firm IDEMIA found that Indian consumers have the most positive attitude towards biometrics across geographies, with 96% having used biometrics at least once. Conducted across over 3,400 respondents across 14 countries, including 400 in India, the survey shows 84% of global consumers have used biometric authentication methods – 70% have used fingerprint biometrics and 55% have used it to unlock their phones. Four out of five customers are ready to use their fingerprint instead of a PIN when paying with a card.
