Indian shares up modestly in seventh day of rally; Reliance gains

BENGALURU: Indian shares were set to rise for a seventh straight session on Tuesday, supported by a slew of strong corporate results against the backdrop of an upbeat sentiment for equities globally.
The NSE Nifty 50 index was 0.21% higher at 15,145.55 by 0355 GMT, while the S&P BSE Sensex was up 0.13% at 51,418.52.
Software services giant Infosys and oil-to-telecoms conglomerate Reliance Industries were the top two boosts to the Nifty 50, gaining roughly 1% each.
