Indian PC market shipped a record 3.4 million units in Q3, led by HP: Report
NEW DELHI: India’s traditional PC market (inclusive of desktops, notebooks, and workstations) grew 9.2% year-on-year in Q3 2020 to reach an all-time high of 3.4 million shipments, led by America’s HP, as per market tracker firm IDC’s latest report.
The July-September quarter is the biggest PC quarter in the last seven years in India.
Although the commercial segment had very few governments and education projects, the consumer segment logged its biggest quarter to date with 2 million shipments, growing 41.7% year-on-year and 167.2% quarterly.
