Indian IoT players should opt LoRa WAN to scale economically: LoRa Alliance CEO

NEW DELHI: Donna Moore, CEO & chairwoman of the LoRa Alliance said that the Indian IoT players should consider LoRa technology to avail cost benefits and scale economically. While IoT is in nascent stages, telcos have been driving the space using the 2G technology and now planning to further give it a push with NB-IoT.

Low power wide area network (LPWAN) technologies like narrowband- IoT (NB-IoT), long range(LoRa) and Sigfox are often compared with one another.
