Indian BPM could gain from a mild slump: WNS CEO Keshav Murugesh

The business process management (BPM) sector could win more cost reduction-based deals in a potential mild recession scenario that is looming globally, said Keshav Murugesh, chief executive of WNS.

“If it is a mild recession, then discussion starts veering away from the traditional transformation and growth discussion. Clients also now want to take the advantage of cost reduction. That (cost-reduction theme) can be positive for our business,” Murugesh told ET.
