India wearables market shipments rise 53.3% to 57.8 million units in H1 2023: IDC

NEW DELHI: India’s wearables market registered a strong 53.3% year-over-year growth in shipments to 57.8 million units in the first half of 2023 (H1 2023), according to the latest IDC data released Thursday.

Upasana Joshi, Research Manager, Client Devices, IDC India, said that H1 2023 logged “hundreds of smartwatch model launches” with premium finishing, sporty appearances, rugged builds, and a variety of strap finishes.
