India tablet market declines 35% on-quarter in 1Q21; Apple replaces Samsung for second spot: CMR

NEW DELHI: China’s Lenovo continued to be the top tablet vendor in India during Q1 2021, even as the Indian tablet market declined 35% on-quarter due to the Covid-19 pandemic and shortage of stocks after the festive season, as per the latest CMR’s Tablet PC Market Report Review for Q1 CY2021.

While Lenovo benefited from opportunities in the government, education, and healthcare sectors, Apple replaced Samsung at the second spot for Q1 2021 with a 29% market share.
