India sees 130% growth in data in two years: Dell EMC data protection Index
Pune: The third edition of the Dell EMC Global Data Protection Index, finds that organisations in India saw 130% growth in data from 2016-2018, as against a global average of 569%. The total amount of data managed by Indian firms grew from 2.79 PB in 2016 to 6.43PB in 2018. While 93% businesses see the potential value of data, 47% are already monetizing it, as against 36% globally.
