India may see indigenously developed 5G technology in roll outs: MoS Devusinh Chauhan

India is likely to see its own indigenously developed and manufactured 5G stack getting deployed in rolling out 5G networks in India, said Minister of State (Communication), Devusinh Chauhan.

He added that the indigenously developed set of 5G standards, called 5Gi, has been approved by the ITU (International Telecommunication Union) and 3GPP, and made part of the global 5G standards.
