India is fast emerging as hub for cybersecurity innovations

The proliferation of ChatGPT-like large language models and low-code no-code platforms have been a boon for developers. It makes coding far easier and quicker. There is an unfortunate corollary though, says Bryan Palma, CEO of cybersecurity firm Trellix: Hackers are pumping out new malware and viruses faster than ever too. This has resulted in a new arms race of sorts.

But it’s not all doom and gloom. The need to counter cyber threats proactively has resulted in an explosion of innovative solutions coming out of tech hubs, including in India, as well as lucrative job opportunities for young techies wondering which field to specialise in.
