India bans 118 Chinese apps including PUBG

NEW DELHI: The Ministry of Electronics and IT (MeitY) on Wednesday banned 118 Chinese apps by invoking its powers under the Section 69A of Information Technology (IT) Act .

These 118 banned apps are deemed to be ‘prejudicial to sovereignty and integrity of India, Defence of India, security of State and public order’, according to an official statement.
