IIT Madras inks pact with Keysight to accelerate development of desi 5G standard

NEW DELHI: Telecom testing solutions provider Keysight on Thursday said it has inked a partnership with the Indian Institute of Technology, Madras (IIT-M) to assist the Telecom Standards Development Society, India (TSDSI) in developing India specific 5G standard.

Under the partnership, IIT-M will provide the assistance of more than 50 researchers and engineers based out of its campus while Keysight Technologies will provide the required equipment for the project.
