IIT-KGP software to boost patient management services for Vivek Sanjivani

The Indian Institute of Technology-Kharagpur (IIT-KGP) has developed a free software for providing patient management services for Vivek Sanjivani — a real-time telemedicine initiative launched by the Ramakrishna Mission Home of Service in Varanasi.

Called ‘Matri Seva’, the software will be hosted on a Microsoft cloud-based server and will be easily accessible to all 12 centres of Vivek Sanjivani. It can be used for primary healthcare, mental healthcare, follow-up visits, management of chronic diseases, medication management, health education and other clinical services.
